The Best Posing Aid for Newborn Pictures

We worked with professional newborn photographers to create the design of this newborn poser for photography. As a result, our posing pillow ‘Create-a-Nest’™ has several advantages that set it apart from other posers.

Firstly, the newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’ contains a posing pillow (the base) and a cover.

Secondly, the newborn photography poser cover fit is flattering. That is to say, it makes as few wrinkles as possible.

Everyone knows that unnecessary wrinkles are undesirable in newborn photography. They create ugly shadows so the pictures don’t look professional. We pay special attention to each new design of the cover. The texture of the yarn is combined with the pattern. The pattern must either emphasize the beauty of the yarn or, conversely, it must itself be wonderful. We put a lot of effort and time into this process. But we love it because it allows us to reveal our design abilities. And looking at our clients’ great newborn (and toddler!) pictures is the ultimate reward.

Thirdly, newborn photography poser cover can be changed easily. So you can use more than one cover during your newborn photo session.

We are very excited that this idea came to us during the design process. Now you can save space in your newborn studio closet. A newborn photographer on location will appreciate this advantage even more. You will not only save space in the trunk of your car. Therefore, it will be much easier to carry your newborn photography props to your client’s home.

Newborn Poser for Photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™ – The Cutest Ideas of Use

When it comes to versatility, you truly can’t beat the newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™. No matter the baby’s gender or your photography style, this hardworking staple has your back (quite literally).

“Newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™ is essential to any photography studio wardrobe,” says leading newborn photographer Kristina Mack. “There are endless ways to use it, from super minimalist to lavish and more opulent styles, so it always feels fresh.”

In this article, we’re excited to share admirable galleries from well-known newborn photographers all over the world. We are lucky enough to call them our clients as well.

The Best Newborn Posing Beanbag Alternative for Your Photoshoot

Classic jersey stitch and neutral colours are all guaranteed to come up with all kind of different options to use this newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™ on repeat.

Lets look at the amazing pictures by Mai Kadohira from Kotori Photography.

To achieve minimal look of the newborn baby boy pictures she uses two props only – an outfit and the poser.

Then she virtuously and easily creates a new setup – puts on a cute bear bonnet thus adding a touch of playfulness to the gallery.

Mai adds more photography props and creates a lovely opulent style posing baby girl on the same newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Miraji.

Lacey Knits for Standout Style

We can’t get enough of this endearing, praiseworthy setup starring the poser ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Harrison. With an elegant lace pattern, it’s the perfect newborn poser for photography. This newborn posing prop truly works for every photography style – minimal style, monochromatic, polychromatic setups, all-white-sessions, you name it. It’s hand-knitted and has a flattering shape.

Admirable Back-Lightning

One of our favourite lighting setup with the newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™? Definitely, the back-lighting. This is a great way to picture that tiny delicate newborn’s profile touched with grace of light as Andrea Krey from Andrea Krey Photography just did in the picture below. She posed the baby on our poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Harrison in cream.

When Less Is More

Another one amazing minimalist approach in newborn photography is presented by talented Miriam Girones from Miriam Girones Fotografia. She uses the same setup – window with curtains, white flooring and poses wrapped newborn on our poser ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Stars. She changes photographing angles and with the same setup and pose creates an admirably harmonious gallery for her clients.

Vintage Vibe

Another dreamy setup, which I think is timeless, that you can create using our poser is this neutral-coloured and absolutely admirable setup created by Kathleen Neufeld from Hope + Salt Photography.

Baby Poser for Photography – ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Fletcher in cream perfectly coordinated simplistic bow headband, jersey wrap, lacey layer, rattan basket, flokati layer and finally natural jute braided rug.

All this beauty turned into a splendid art piece. It’s perfect for newborn baby girls and obviously ideal for newborn baby boys.

Chin On Hands Newborn Pose

We’re loving how Mai posed these newborn baby girls on our poser and created impressive pictures. The Chin on hands newborn pose is a great way to add something different to your gallery. These pictures are really eye-catching as this pose is not natural for newborns.

While a mother is feeding her baby you can use this little break to change the cover of your poser and prepare such a splendid setup as Mai did. A covered baby will feel more comfortable and will look cosier.

Potato Sack Newborn Pose

The newborn poser for photography ‘Create-a-Nest’™ is an absolute multitasker in your photography studio. It can be used in many ways. One that you could not think of is – posing newborn in Potato sack pose. This newborn pose is another pose that will not leave indifferent. Angela Eastwood from Angela Eastwood Photography did an amazing job here. She used our pillow (the base of the poser ‘Create-a-Nest’™) underneath the flokati to securely pose a newborn. Note: always use assistant/spotter while achieving this pose.

Unexpected Ways to Use Our Poser

We love our clients’ creativity. Mai used the cover of our poser ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Miraji as a layering piece here. Don’t you think it’s genius?!⠀

We are delighted to share even more exemplary pictures by the talented Mai Kadohira where she uses the covers of our poser instead of a layering piece or as a stuffer inside the bucket.

Prop for a Sitter Session

Do you know that our poser ‘Create-a-Nest’™ can be easily transformed into a pouf for a sitter, cake smash and other milestone sessions? We created a special add-on – Insert – to place inside the whole of the pillow so the baby could sit on it.

Our favourite idea of using our poser for sitter sessions? The idea that Andrea Krey from Andrea Krey Photography came up with – a wicker basket. She put the poser ‘Create-a-Nest’™ Harrison (with an Insert) into the basket and resolved the problem of photographing child who cannot sit on its own yet.

The basket provides security for the child as he will not fall.

It also holds the child in one place and deprives of the opportunity to escape from the photo lens, while allowing the photographer to take several (or maybe even a dozen?!) pictures of the agile child.

Coordinated Newborn Photography Props

You can create beautiful pictures of a newborn baby by posing his/her on the poser and using only this one photography prop. Unfortunately, this is often not possible, since the best way to calm the newborn is swaddle him. Therefore you will need a wrap. Then parents ask to put a headband for a newborn girl, and a hat for a newborn boy. Now you need only a toy to complete the setup!

Oh no! You panic again, not knowing how to professionally match newborn photography props.

Don’t panic, we’ve solved your issue. Our newborn poser has many designs and even more colours. Whatever the case, we’ve created a matching newborn photo prop bundle for each of them. So you don’t have to worry if your photos will be beautiful and adored by your clients.

Start creating stunning and impactful newborn pictures that your clients will rave about quickly and efficiently!
